About us

It all began with Easy German. Throughout the years the idea expanded into a partner network that currently includes over 30 languages, including Spanish. Besides making language learning fun and engaging, our mission is to promote intercultural exchange and understanding. Today, almost 2 million people subscribe to our channels and our videos have been watched more than 180 million times. Our Story

Embracing Spanish language diversity

Peru (2013-2016)

The first episode of Easy Spanish was produced in Peru in 2013 by language enthusiasts Beatriz and Christian. They produced episodes in Lima until the end of 2016, when the Mexican team took over the channel.

Mexico (2015-2019)

The first episode recorded in Mexico City was published on Christmas Eve 2015. This was the first step towards one of our project’s long-term goals: to represent the diversity of the Spanish language. Juan and Baruch, from Mexico City, produced videos for the channel until February 2020 when they handed on the baton to the current team in Barcelona.

Easy Spanish 2020: A whole new chapter

In 2020, the Easy Languages team travelled to Barcelona, Spain, to meet a group of language lovers interested in producing Easy Spanish. This is how we met Carla, Sara, Iván and Harry. They formed a new team with Francisco, who worked with Easy German at the time.

Juanjo

Juanjo helps out with our video and podcast editing as well as being the cameraman for our episodes in Mexico City. Juanjo is secretly an undercover Jazz musician, a fitness enthusiast, and is at his happiest when cooking for his friends.
