Our Story
Embracing Spanish language diversity
Peru (2013-2016)
The first episode of Easy Spanish was produced in Peru in 2013 by language enthusiasts Beatriz and Christian. They produced episodes in Lima until the end of 2016.
Mexico (2015-2019)
The first episode recorded in Mexico City was published on Christmas Eve 2015. Juan and Baruch produced videos from México City for the channel until the beginning of 2020 when they handed on the baton to the current team.
Easy Spanish 2020: A whole new chapter
In 2020, the Easy Languages team travelled to Barcelona, Spain, to meet a group of language lovers interested in producing Easy Spanish. Over the years, our team has continued to evolve, producing videos regularly from both Mexico and Spain.

Our Team
Agustín
Agustín is responsible for our video and podcast transcripts at Easy Spanish, as well as the podcast Vocab Helper. He studies linguistics at Buenos Aires University. Agustín enjoys writing, reading, watching movies and playing football (soccer).
Aida
Behind the cameras, Aida creates exercises and vocabulary lists based on our videos so that the Easy Spanish community members can practice and improve their Spanish more actively. She is a Spanish teacher with the conviction that learning languages should be fun, systematic, and practical.
Cami
Hailing from Bogotá, Colombia, Cami arrived in Barcelona at the end of 2025. She found Easy Spanish while looking for teaching resources for her students and now brings her infectious energy to our videos, podcasts and conversation calls.
David
David has long been a friend of Easy Spanish and is now part of the didactics team. You'll also see him on camera often. As a Spanish teacher since 2016, David balances his work at Easy Spanish with teaching classes at the university. He's not only passionate about language education: he also loves learning new things, meeting new people, music, and sports, especially martial arts.
Carla
You can find Carla in many of our YouTube and podcast episodes! Outside of Easy Spanish she works as a teacher in Barcelona and her passions include cooking, karaoke and Kafka.
Fran
Fran was part of the Easy Languages and worked closely with Easy Spanish from 2020-2025, coordinating different aspects of production. At the end of 2025, Fran went on to new, creative and entrepreneurial projects, we wish them the best!
Harry
Originally from the UK, Harry moved to Barcelona in 2019 and began making videos for Easy Spanish soon after. As someone who's spent over 10 years studying Spanish, as well as a handful of other languages, he brings a learner's eye to our project.
Juanjo
Juanjo is our video and podcast editor as well as being the cameraman for our episodes in Mexico City. (Not so) secretly, he’s also an accomplished jazz musician and fitness enthusiast, and is at his happiest when cooking for his friends.
Pau
Apart from being a host in our videos & podcast, Pau is the person who takes care of the Easy Spanish Community. She is a water guide, guiding people to reconnect with water through a therapy called Janzu. Fascinated by life, her dream is to help others learn.
Sara
